Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a weekend night shift position in Charlotte. The role is part-time (24 hours per week) and registry eligible, with benefits available. The candidate will work in the Respiratory Therapy Services department at Atrium Health University City.

The ideal candidate holds CRT certification, an associate degree in respiratory therapy, and experience with ventilators and EMR systems, while upholding safety and PHI policies in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required (or equivalent experience may be considered).
• BA/BS or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery methods and equipment and conducts prescribed therapies to achieve proper oxygenation.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and understands their purpose and effects; performs diagnostic procedures per policy.
• Initiates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilators and acknowledges critical care duties.
