Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy with an Associate’s degree.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and current state licensure required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) required; advanced facility certification per policy.

Responsibilities

• Administers and monitors respiratory therapies to achieve adequate oxygenation.
• Operates mechanical and non-invasive ventilators and evaluates plans of care.
• Documents results and communicates with the health care team.
• Performs diagnostics and blood gas analysis; maintains patient safety and PHI privacy.
