Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for night shift duties in the Respiratory Therapy Services department. The role requires graduation from an AMA approved program and NBRC registry eligibility, with CRT preferred for extensive experience. BLS is required, and ACLS/PALS/NRP must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Part-time schedule is 24 hours per week. The position emphasizes high-quality patient care, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies in a hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved two- or four-year program for respiratory care.
• CRT applicants must have NBRC registry eligibility and state licensure.
• Licensed to practice as an RCP; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP per 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapies per policy and age-specific standards.
• Initiate and maintain mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Report clinical procedures to relief personnel for continuity of care.
• Perform point-of-care testing and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Monitor patients to ensure safety and appropriate care.
