Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of work.
• RRT credentialed by NBRC is required.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of oxygen delivery modes and related equipment.
• Administers and monitors therapeutic procedures; conducts prescribed therapies.
• Initiates and monitors mechanical and non-invasive ventilation.
• Evaluates therapy using clinical judgment and protocols; plans care and education.
