Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an experienced distribution center operator to perform material handling across inbound, outbound, returns, and acquisitions functions. You will move merchandise, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include receiving, unloading, scanning, sorting, packing, staging, and shipping, plus using RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking systems; training teammates when assigned and ensuring continuous workflow during peak

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment and lift/move merchandise safely.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems and technologies.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Ability to train team members when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately.
• Match item numbers, quantities, and shipping docs with physical goods.
• Process inbound/outbound shipments, returns, and vendored items per policy.
• Operate RF scanners, WMS, voice-picking, and related tech.
• Store/retrieve merchandise, load/unload trailers, and secure shipments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform discrepancy resolution.
• Rebox, relabel, and prepare items for shipment or inventory placement.
• Ensure safety standards and escalate unsafe conditions.
• Perform Ocomm/City Counter tasks when assigned and support peak workflows.
