Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a distribution center operator to support inbound/outbound, returns, and acquisitions within the DC. The role focuses on processing and moving merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include receiving, sorting, packing, staging, and shipping merchandise with RF scanners and WMS, while ensuring adherence to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follow established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including safe lifting and handling of merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems and operational processes.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Support training and development of team members when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, returns, acquisitions inventory, and vendor returns.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, and warehouse software as required.
• Store, retrieve, and organize merchandise in floor locations, shelving, and racking.
• Load/unload trailers, route trucks, and secure shipments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, and discrepancy resolution.
