Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an advanced warehouse operator to perform distribution center material handling duties supporting inbound, outbound, returns, and related operations. You will move merchandise, ensure inventory accuracy, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include using RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking tools; stocking, picking, packing, staging, shipping; and maintaining organized work areas.

• Must accurately match numerical and alphabetical information.
• Follows established operational, safety, and quality procedures.
• Maintain safe work environment, including safe lifting and handling of merchandise.
• Willingness to learn warehouse systems, RF technology, and operational processes.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction.
• Ability to support training and development of team members when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, returns, and vendor returns per policy.
• Operate RF scanners, WMS, and voice-picking systems.
• Store and retrieve merchandise from floor locations and racks.
• Load/unload trailers and route trucks while safeguarding goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, and discrepancy resolution.
• Rebox, relabel, sort, and prepare merchandise for shipment or inventory placement.
• Follow hazardous material handling and safety standards.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards in daily tasks.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; report unsafe conditions.
