Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic I to repair and maintain packaging, processing, and plant equipment on a weekend schedule. The role includes mentoring less skilled maintenance staff and collaborating with engineering.

Candidates should have a two-year degree or equivalent with experience; familiarity with CMMS, troubleshooting, electrical and mechanical systems; and a commitment to safety and cGMP practices.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent plus 2 years related experience OR 5 years related experience.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems, fabrication, pneumatics, hydraulics, OSHA/cGMP, lock-out/tag-out.
• Food or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, repair, lubricate, and troubleshoot packaging machinery and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance per CMMS.
• Assist engineering with installation of new equipment and read drawings.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and clean/organize shop areas.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
