Job summary

Woodward Inc. is seeking an experienced machine repair technician to support production equipment at the Loves Park Campus. This weekend shift runs Friday–Sunday, 3:00pm–3:30am, with training on the first shift.

Level II/III technicians diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, perform repairs and preventive maintenance, and document activities in the CMMS. Collaboration with teams ensures safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of manufacturing machinery, including CNC and Test equipment.
• Experience with performing preventative maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings and repair manuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose machine issues and determine corrective actions.
• Perform repairs and regular maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activities in the CMMS for tracking and compliance.
• Mentor junior technicians and share technical information.
• Develop maintenance procedures and improve equipment reliability.
