Job summary

Woodward is hiring an experienced machine repair technician to support production equipment at our Loves Park Campus. This weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 3:00pm–3:30am) includes training on 1st shift.

Roles include Level II/III responsibilities with a focus on diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment. Compensation ranges reflect two levels: Level II and Level III with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training, growth, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Diagnose machine issues and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical problems.
• Perform regular and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance actions in the CMMS for tracking and compliance.
• Calibrate equipment to specifications and ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose Machine Issues: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in machinery to determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform Repairs and Maintenance: Execute regular and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Document Maintenance Activities: Accurately record all repair and maintenance actions in the maintenance management system for tracking and compliance.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Communicate effectively with other technicians and departments to coordinate repair activities and share technical information.
• Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while performing repair and maintenance tasks to maintain a safe work environment.
