Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance, diagnose and repair basic machine issues, and document all activities on the Loves Park campus. The role operates on an early shift (Mon-Fri) with on-call rotation and requires strong troubleshooting and hand-tool proficiency.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree in electronics/mechanical disciplines, and experience in a manufacturing repair environment. OSHA-style safety practices are expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics, mechanical or industrial discipline preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a machine repair role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing production machine errors.

Responsibilities

• Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and execute preventative maintenance on machinery following standard operating procedures.
• Diagnose Basic Issues: Identify and troubleshoot straightforward machine malfunctions using established guidelines and diagnostic tools.
• Execute Repairs: Carry out necessary repairs on equipment under close supervision, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Document Maintenance Activities: Accurately record all maintenance and repair tasks in maintenance logs and reports.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Communicate technical information and work effectively with team members to ensure optimal machine performance.
