Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in Keene, NH is seeking a Weekend Supervisor (LPN) to lead weekend clinical operations with 24-hour accountability. The role works Fri–Mon and collaborates closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Current license by State Board of Nursing required.
• Minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience; two years in long-term care with one year in management/ supervisory capacity preferred.
• Must read/write/speak English to ensure safety and communicate needs.
• TB test verification per state law and company policy.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekend clinical operations; 24-hour accountability in collaboration with the DON.
• Serve as primary clinical and operational liaison between units and DON.
• Mentor and guide nursing staff; facilitate cross-shift communication.
• Oversee administrative tasks when DON is absent; hands-on clinical support as needed.
• Promote safety, quality improvement, and professional development.
