Job summary

Genesis Administrative Services LLC is seeking a Weekend Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) to lead the nursing team. The role requires 24-hour accountability on weekends, in coordination with the Director of Nursing to ensure exceptional patient care.

You will mentor staff, manage weekend operations, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards while maintaining strong collaboration with the medical team.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Current license by the State Board of Nursing is required.
• Minimum three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience; two years in long-term care nursing with management/ supervisory capacity preferred.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and care.
• Must provide verification of TB skin test as required by state law.
• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekend nursing team with 24-hour accountability.
• Act as clinical and operational liaison between units and the Director of Nursing.
• Oversee all weekend clinical operations and ensure policy/regulatory compliance.
• Mentor nursing staff and promote effective communication across shifts.
• In DON's absence, assume duties and provide hands-on clinical support.
• Drive safety, quality improvement and professional development initiatives.
