Job summary
Genesis is seeking a Weekend Manager, RN to lead the nursing center from Friday 5 PM through Monday 7 AM. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and align delivery with state and company standards.
The role includes mentoring the team, collaborating with physicians, and potentially providing direct patient care as needed. A valid RN license and BLS/CPR are required, with leadership experience highly valued.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN: 2 years nursing experience; other degrees: 3 years nursing experience.
- Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses.
- Must maintain BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing center operations from Friday 5 PM to Monday 7 AM.
- Report to the Director of Nursing.
- Ensure care delivery aligns with mission, policies, and regulations.
- Mentor, educate, coach, and discipline nursing staff.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals; serve as a resource.
- May provide direct patient care to maintain skills.
