Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Hospital Security Shift Supervisor on a part-time weekends basis at an hourly rate of $18.00. The Shift Supervisor will oversee the delivery of security services on a specific shift at the assigned site and act as a liaison between site leadership and security officers.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coaching and disciplining within policy, and maintaining clear communication with Account and Field Operations Managers.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions
• Background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test may be required
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize technology at client sites
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers
• Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved guidelines
