Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Hospital Security Officer to safeguard a high-profile healthcare site. You will patrol premises, monitor for security issues, de-escalate incidents, and assist staff and visitors with a professional, courteous approach.

Part-time schedule with weekend availability at $16.31 per hour. You will need a HS diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience, pass background checks and drug screening, and obtain required certifications post-offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or handling stressful situations.
• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazard, and unusual activity.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions and security violations.
• De-escalate individuals verbally and physically when needed.
• Inspect security devices and fire control equipment.
• Screen members, visitors, and staff to expedite admittance to the facility.
• Respond calmly to emergencies such as fire, medical events, and incidents.
