P&S Transportation is seeking a Weekend Breakdown Coordinator in Birmingham, AL to handle inbound calls and coordinate maintenance between drivers, vendors, and internal teams. The role emphasizes outstanding customer service and effective problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include creating repair orders, vendor management, reviewing action codes, and ensuring DOT/FMCSA compliance. Weekend hours Friday–Monday 7am–5pm, with flexibility for after-hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Experience in call center, service writing, or maintenance coordination is a plus.
• Experience in transportation industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and coordinate maintenance between drivers, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to drivers and team members.
• Create repair orders within Fleetio and review action codes from units.
• Communicate breakdowns promptly to coordinators, operations, safety, and risk management.
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA regulations are followed and repairs are authorized when appropriate.
