Job summary

McDonald’s Restaurants Limited is seeking a Maintenance Person to keep the restaurant facility and equipment clean, safe, and functional. You will support daily operations by ensuring the building, grounds, and all equipment meet McDonald’s standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Responsibilities include interior and exterior upkeep, routine cleaning, preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment, safety compliance, grounds maintenance, and assisting management with special projects.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and maintenance skills preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor repairs and complete routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the interior and exterior of the restaurant, including dining room, restrooms, kitchen, storage areas, parking lot, sidewalks, and landscaping.
• Complete routine cleaning such as floors, walls, windows, light fixtures, and ceiling tiles.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment, identify and report issues, and coordinate repairs.
• Follow safety guidelines, use of cleaning chemicals, lockout procedures, ladder safety and PPE, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain parking lot cleanliness, monitor exterior lighting and signage, and assist management with special projects.
• Ensure equipment is clean, functional, and ready for peak business periods.
