Job summary

McDonald’s Restaurants Limited is seeking a Maintenance Person to keep the restaurant facility, grounds, and equipment clean, safe, and fully functional. You will support daily operations and help uphold McDonald’s standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

The role involves interior and exterior upkeep, preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment, safety compliance, and assisting with special projects.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and maintenance skills preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor repairs and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stand for extended periods and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior of the restaurant, including dining area, restrooms, kitchen, storage, parking lot, sidewalks, and landscaping.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment and report issues for repairs.
• Follow safety guidelines for cleaning chemicals, ladders, PPE, and food-safety standards.
• Keep walkways and work areas hazard-free and ensure proper lighting and signage.
• Assist management with special projects and provide equipment support during peak periods.
