McDonald’s is hiring a Maintenance Person to keep the restaurant clean, safe, and fully functional. You will care for the building, grounds, and equipment, supporting daily operations and ensuring McDonald’s standards are met for quality and guest experience.

The role requires basic mechanical maintenance, ability to troubleshoot minor issues, and the stamina to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and maintenance skills preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor repairs and complete routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance: Maintain interior and exterior areas including dining room, restrooms, kitchen, storage, parking lot, sidewalks, and landscaping.
• Equipment Care and Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on kitchen equipment and report issues promptly.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow safety guidelines, proper chemical handling, lockout procedures, and PPE; ensure food safety compliance.
• Grounds and Exterior Upkeep: Keep parking lot clean, manage snow/ice, monitor exterior lighting and signage.
• Support to Operations: Assist management with special projects and ensure equipment is clean and ready for peak periods.
