Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator at our Moncks Corner, SC site. You will be the primary contact for dock activities, coordinating trailer movements and yard flow to support daily priorities.

This hands-on leadership role collaborates with operations, transportation, safety and customer teams to ensure safe, efficient execution and strong customer service. Weekend 1st Shift, 6:00am - 4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or dock/yard experience in a fast-paced operation.
• Ability to coordinate dock activities and trailers.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong adherence to safety standards and escalation protocols.
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate loading/unloading dock activities to support operations.
• Manage trailer movements and yard flow for daily priorities.
• Monitor dock conditions and enforce safety stop-work when needed.
• Collaborate with site ops, transportation, and customer teams.
• Document updates and track issues using Office/Sheets.
• Provide coverage to site leadership and lead peers as required.
• Maintain 7S workplace standards and dock organization.
