Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Moncks Corner, SC, is seeking a Yard & Dock Coordinator to lead dock activities and ensure safe, efficient trailer movements.

You will partner with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to prioritize tasks, manage yard flow, and uphold safety standards while delivering excellent service. The role requires hands-on leadership and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or distribution or dock experience required.
• Ability to coordinate dock/yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong communication for cross-functional teamwork.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and support dock-related equipment.
• Coordinate trailer movements to support daily priorities.
• Manage docking, release, and yard flow following safety standards.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate hazards.
• Partner with site operations, transportation, and customer teams.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure dock activities align with guidelines and SWIs.
• Support dock and yard organization per 7S standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify risks and delays.
• Use Office 365 and Google Suite to track activity and document issues.
• Provide coverage and operational support to site leadership.
