Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Red Oak, TX is hiring a Yard and Dock Coordinator for a Friday–Monday, 9:00pm–7:30am weekend shift.

You’ll be the primary contact for dock activities, ensuring safe, efficient trailer movements and close coordination with operations, transportation, safety and customer teams. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes safety, process compliance, and clear communication while monitoring dock conditions, sequencing trailers, and supporting site leadership with daily tasks

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, dock or transportation environments.
• Ability to coordinate dock or yard activities in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of trailer docking and release procedures.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Champion operation safety and use dock-related equipment.
• Coordinate loading and unloading dock activities and trailer movements.
• Manage trailer docking, release, and yard flow.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe situations.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation and customer teams.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure dock activities follow process guidelines and SWIs.
• Support 7S organization in dock and yard.
• Conduct regular visual inspections to identify risks.
• Document issues using Office 365 and Google Suite.
