Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Yard and Dock Coordinator for the Weekend 2nd Shift to manage dock activities and trailer movements. You will work closely with operations, transportation, safety, and customer teams to ensure safe, efficient, and timely trailer flow.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, adherence to safety guidelines, and proactive communication with stakeholders to meet daily priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, dock, yard or transportation environment.
• Ability to coordinate dock/yard activities in a fast-paced operation.
• Working knowledge of trailer docking, release procedures, and trailer anatomy.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all loading and unloading dock activities.
• Coordinate trailer movements to support daily operational priorities.
• Manage and sequence docking, release, and yard flow.
• Monitor dock conditions and escalate unsafe situations.
• Collaborate with site operations, transportation, and customer teams.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders professionally.
• Ensure dock activities align with safety standards and SWIs.
