Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and mental health needs. The role covers evening shifts Tuesday through Saturday, focusing on individualized care, skill-building, and daily living activities.

Responsibilities include documenting in the EHR, transporting individuals, and ensuring safety and privacy. Candidates must meet basic education, age, license, and health screening requirements and be comfortable with

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must successfully complete all background checks.
Must successfully complete health screening (TB).

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with goal completion as documented in the individualized support plan.
Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs); bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and meals as needed.
Safely transport Individuals in company or personal vehicles.
Accompany individuals to community integration activities.
Complete documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) timely.
Engage with individuals in home and community.
Uphold and advocate for individual rights.
Ensure HIPAA compliance and privacy of information.
Maintain professional boundaries in all interactions.
DSPs are mandated reporters for abuse/neglect.
Administer prescribed medications after training.
Must be proficient with technology.
Maintain wakefulness for shift duration.
Perform physical demands (lifting/transfers).
Other duties as assigned.
