Qualifications

• IL state license as LPN or RN in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Ability to work flexible schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and coordination of total patient care with RN and physician plan.
• Accurately report and record patient condition and care.
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
• Assist patient with activities of daily living and teach self-care techniques.
• Provide and maintain a safe patient environment.
• Assist physician and RN in complex nursing situations.
• Follow universal precautions and emergency procedures.
