Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Quincy, MA is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and provide nursing care in a warm, home-like environment.

Nights and weekends are scheduled, with some day shifts available. You will assess residents, document status, mentor assistants, coordinate with providers, and respond to emergencies while promoting resident independence.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN or RN and CPR certification
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements) or RN equivalent
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience; elderly care preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports significant changes in resident health to the appropriate leaders per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors Lead Resident Care Assistants in job aspects.
• Coordinates care with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency system calls.
