The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy in Quincy, IL is seeking an LPN Staff Nurse to join our growing team.

We offer full-time and part-time positions with multiple shift options: 6:30am-3:00pm, 6:30am-7:00pm, 2:30pm-11:00pm, 6:30pm-7:00am, and 10:30pm-7:00am. Candidates must hold an IL state LPN license, have CPR, and demonstrate compassion and strong interpersonal skills to deliver high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• LPN license is required for Illinois.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and coordination of total patient care with RN and physician.
• Accurately report and record patient condition and care, including signs of change.
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and teach self-care.
• Provide and maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Assist physician and RN in complex nursing situations.
• Follow universal precautions in all care activities.
• Follow emergency procedures for catastrophic events or significant changes in patient condition.

The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy in Quincy, IL is seeking an LPN Staff Nurse to join our growing team!

Full Time and Part Time Positions Available 6:30am-3:00pm, 6:30am-7:00pm, 2:30pm - 11:00pm, 6:30pm - 7:00am, 10:30pm - 7:00am

We are looking for a compassionate LPN! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a current state LPN license. The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents and to assist in compiling data to complete the resident assessment by the requirements of current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services, or designees, to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Rate of Pay: $24.04- $28.04

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries
• Assist the patient with the activities of daily living while teaching appropriate self-care techniques
• Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient
• Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations
• Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition

Qualifications

• IL state license as an LPN
• Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing
• Proof of current CPR certification
• Ability to work flexible schedule
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
