Job summary

The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy in Quincy, IL is seeking an LPN Staff Nurse to join our growing team. Full Time and Part Time positions available for 6:30pm-7:00am and 10:30pm-7:00am.

The right candidate will have a current IL LPN license, compassionate approach, and the ability to deliver direct nursing care according to established plans and standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a supportive facility.

Qualifications

IL state license as an LPN.
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Participate in planning and coordination of total patient care with RN and physician plan.
Accurately report and record patient condition and care changes.
Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
Assist with activities of daily living and teach self care.
Maintain a safe patient environment.
Assist physician and RN in complex nursing situations.
Follow universal precautions and emergency procedures.
