Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on production machines, including PLC programming changes for reliability. Training on day shift for up to 2 months before transitioning to the Weekend shift, with a Friday–Sunday 6:00am–6:00pm schedule.

The role requires a technical associate degree and 2 years' related experience; forklift and aerial licenses may be needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Must obtain forklift and aerial platform licenses.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on production equipment.
• Program ladder logic using Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000.
• Document repairs and PM in the plant's workorder system (EAM).
• Set up and adjust servo controls and VFDs; motor troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with CEPG on machine improvements.
• Ensure proper backups of PLC programs and set-points.
