Kennie's Market's Inc in Spring Grove, PA is seeking a Weekend Cashier to join the front-end team. You will operate the register, assist customers, and help maintain a clean, organized checkout area while ensuring accurate cash handling and friendly service.

No prior experience is required and training will be provided; weekend shifts and part-time hours offer flexible scheduling and opportunities to learn basic retail procedures.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; communicate with customers.
• Basic arithmetic with dollars and weights; operate cash register and process payments.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and handle problems.

Responsibilities

• Follows front end security procedures
• Processes transactions and handles cash, checks, coupons and EBT as needed
• Ensures proper handling of all forms of tender and receipts
• Maintains a neat and organized till and registers items
• Operates scanner and assists customers with purchases
• Greet customers and promote Kennie's Card sign-up when applicable
• Adheres to uniform and name badge policies
• Assists with front end maintenance and store-wide promotions
• Performs other duties as directed by Frontend Manager or Store Manager
