Qualifications

• Dexterity to scan and keypad groceries.
• Strong communication for customer service.
• Solid math skills for register accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Scan grocery orders accurately and efficiently.
• Identify departments and modifiers that do not scan.
• Bag items according to customer requests and bagging technique.
• Count cash drawer at shift start and keep secure.
• Handle payment media accurately per policy.
• Follow void procedures correctly.
• Identify produce items and input correct codes.
• Enforce store security policies (shoplifting, BOB, Grapevine).
• Know store supply procedures and weekly ad items.
• Provide courteous greeting and thanking customers.
• Abide by Employee Handbook policies.
• Assist with front-end housekeeping and stock shelves when needed.
