Job summary

Kj’s Market is seeking a part-time front-end/ cashier clerk to support sales, cash handling, and guest services. The role supports weekly-pay schedules and family-owned values in a growing store environment.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, maintaining accurate cash counts, deposits, and front-end operations. Candidates should be able to stand long shifts, lift light loads, and work well with others.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work with others.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs occasionally and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of front end operations and guest service skills.
• Demonstrated math skills and ability to read and understand information.

Responsibilities

• Sales, Cash and Invoice Accounting duties.
• Prepare weekly cash reports and documentation.
• Process invoices and transfers as assigned; manage payments (beer/wine).
• Prepare bank deposits and support cashier activities.
• Ensure cash office security and accountability of tills.
• Monitor cashier tills and audit accuracy; maintain front-end schedule.
• Process guest orders to maintain no-wait policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
