Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Owensboro, KY. You will assist customers by phone and in person, clarify needs, research parts, and recommend solutions while aiming to meet monthly sales goals and boost satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent telephone and written skills, including English grammar.
• Ability and desire to learn new systems quickly.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel) and Google search.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).
• SAP / ERP experience preferred but not required.
• Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics preferred.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone and in person at our facility.
• Clarify needs, do research, and recommend parts after getting up to speed.
• Meet/exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction.
• Process quotes, take orders and provide post-order service.
