Job summary

Belmont University is seeking a Web Specialist to support content production and delivery across websites, emails, and online ads. You will collaborate with Marketing & Communications to uphold the university brand, optimize content for search, and ensure accessibility and compliance.

You’ll work with WordPress multisite, CRM, and analytics tools to optimize performance, coordinate with campus partners, and deliver high-quality digital experiences on a deadline-driven schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience building websites and email templates using HTML and CSS.
• Experience with a wide variety of modern web content management systems.
• Experience with search engine optimization and Google Search Console.
• Experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD).
• Understanding of storytelling and content strategy for the web.
• Familiarity with accessibility and privacy laws as they relate to web design.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development of web content to advance the University’s brand and enrollment goals.
• Build and maintain websites and email templates in the University CMS and related platforms.
• Collaborate with campus partners to ensure content aligns with brand and strategy.
• USer training and governance of CMS, WordPress Multisite and CRM systems.
• Use analytics to measure success and optimize content for SEO and findability.
• Conduct regular SEO audits and improve landing page health.
• Draft web copy and review partner submissions for brand consistency.
• Maintain multiple projects and meet deadlines within budget.
