Job summary

Belmont University is seeking a creative Admissions and Social Media Assistant for the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences. You will collaborate with the Admissions Coordinator to prepare content, assist with events, and support outreach to prospective students.

You will capture campus moments, edit posts for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn, and help welcome families at Preview Days and Be Belmont events while gaining hands‑on experience in communications and student engagement.

Qualifications

Must possess a professional & positive demeanor with good phone and social etiquette.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Must have willingness to learn new skills.
Must be proficient in Word, Excel & social channels including Instagram, Facebook & LinkedIn.
Must have Federal Work Study to be considered.
Must be available to work at least two to three days a week for a minimum of 2 hours each day.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Admissions Coordinator to create social media content that highlights student experiences, programs, and campus events.
Attend admissions and campus events to capture photos and videos for social media.
Assist with editing content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for recruitment and engagement campaigns.
Support admissions events and help welcome prospective students and families.
