Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our Dahlgren team, providing on-site support for TTWCS software testing in surface, subsurface, and FMS configurations. The role requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance, US citizenship, and hands-on lab testing experience with weapon systems.

You will document lab results, troubleshoot hardware and networks, analyze data, and verify fixes while collaborating with government personnel and internal testers.

Qualifications

• BS in science/engineering or military ops experience with TTWCS.
• Experience with CBT&E methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing tools and test scripts.
• Experience using Jira to document CRs/PRs and track tasks.
• Ability to plan and schedule lab tests with resources.

Responsibilities

• Test tactical weapon systems in labs across configurations and builds.
• Troubleshoot lab hardware, simulators, and network setups.
• Analyze test data and help derive data reduction procedures.
• Create and track change requests and issue reports.
• Verify software fixes and validate test results.
• Develop and update test procedures to verify requirements.
• Conduct peer reviews of procedures and maintain TVMs.
• Prepare test plans and generate test reports.
• Summarize testing events in briefs for reviews and management.
