Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our King George, VA team to test TTWCS software in various configurations. The role requires on-site presence at the Dahlgren office and customer site, with travel opportunities but not required.

The candidate will conduct tests, analyze data, and maintain lab documentation while integrating hardware and software configurations. Active Secret Clearance is required; US citizenship is necessary for clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in a STEM field from an accredited university is required unless you have equivalent military operational experience
• Active Secret Clearance is required for this position
• Experience with testing of tactical weapon systems or similar complex systems is desirable

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in lab settings across multiple builds
• Document lab results and maintain lab logs
• Modify and troubleshoot lab hardware, simulators, and networks
• Perform data analysis and develop data extraction/reduction for verification
• Create and review test procedures and TVMs; generate test plans/reports
• Communicate testing results and progress to management
