Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our team in Dahlgren, VA, to test the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS) software across surface, subsurface, and FMS configurations. You will work on-site with testers and government personnel at NSWC Dahlgren and our King George facility.

The role requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance and US citizenship. You will conduct tests, analyze data, and coordinate test initiatives while developing procedures and briefs for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of science in a science/engineering/math field from an accredited university.
• Operational experience as TTWCS Operator/maintenance technician preferred.
• Experience with CBT&E concepts and testing methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing tools and methods.
• Experience using Jira to document and track CRs/PRs and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Test tactical weapon systems across configurations in a lab setting.
• Document lab logs and troubleshoot hardware, simulators, and networks.
• Analyze test data and develop data extraction/reduction elements for verification.
• Create change requests (CR) and issue reports (PR) and verify fixes.
• Develop and modify test procedures and TVMs; perform peer reviews.
• Generate test plans and test reports and communicate results to management.
