Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Weapon System Test Engineer to join our Dahlgren-based team. You will test TTWCS software across lab configurations (surface, subsurface, FMS) and work with government personnel on-site at NSWC Dahlgren.

The role requires an Active Secret Clearance and US citizenship, with opportunities for travel not required. Responsibilities include developing test procedures, maintaining verification matrices, analyzing data, and delivering technical briefs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, or military operational experience as TTWCS operator/maintenance.
• Active Secret Clearance required for this position and US citizenship to obtain clearance.
• BA/BS or higher in a STEM field is preferred if no operational TTWCS experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing of tactical weapon systems in various configurations and builds in a lab setting.
• Document lab data in logs and track tests.
• Modify and troubleshoot lab hardware, simulators, and network configurations.
• Perform data analysis of test output and develop data extraction/reduction elements.
• Verify software fixes for CR/PR resolutions and develop new test procedures.
• Generate test plans and test reports and present at technical reviews.
