Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a detail-oriented Waterworks Sales Support Specialist to back the sales team with quotes, orders, ERP management, and customer service. Remote role with a focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and a seamless customer experience.

Key duties include processing quotes, sales orders, invoices, credits, returns, and maintaining ERP data while coordinating with purchasing, logistics, and operations to ensure timely fulfillment and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, order processing, inside sales, or administrative operations.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or business management software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Process quotes, sales orders, invoices, credits, returns, and related documentation.
• Maintain customer, product, pricing, inventory, and order information within the ERP system.
• Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Track orders from entry through fulfillment and invoicing.
• Maintain complete and organized documentation and records.
• Generate reports and support data integrity initiatives.
• Review project plans, specifications, utility drawings, and bid documents to ensure accurate product selection and order entry.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, logistics, accounting, and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory availability and communicate project requirements across departments.
• Support project quotations, material takeoffs, and order management activities.
