Job summary

Waters is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to act as a key liaison between the U.S. Commercial organization and cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the order lifecycle.

This role supports end-to-end order management, collaborating with Sales, Customer Care, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, and other functions to ensure timely, accurate order processing.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of customer service experience; BA/BS degree preferred.
• Prior biotech or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems like SAP is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end order lifecycle, including order receipt, entry, fulfillment coordination, invoicing, and post-sales support to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for order-related inquiries, collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues, manage exceptions, and ensure timely order execution.
• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, increased efficiency, enhanced accuracy, and improved customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate customer and order records within enterprise systems and ensure data integrity across business processes.
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed to support business operations and customer requirements.
• Monitor order activity, proactively identify potential risks or delays, and take appropriate action to minimize customer impact.
• Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and service-level expectations while maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
