Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Lead within our Water Business Group to monitor and improve technical competencies, staff development, and execution of water resource planning that meets federal standards and expectations.

The role collaborates with market sector directors, business group leaders, and staff to drive growth, deliver projects, and hire/train talent in HDR’s employee-owned culture. A Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 10 years experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
• Experience leading plan formulation for Federal clients. Specific experience with the USACE’s PR&G ideal.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching.
• Leading or supporting standards and guidelines technical tools, checklists, workflows, and techniques to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Participating in tactical planning including engagement with HDR to align initiatives with market drivers and client needs.
• Working with HDR staff to track, develop and share qualifications and project approaches; engage on specific pursuits as a lead or team member.
