Job summary

HDR's Water Business Group seeks a Business Class Lead to monitor and improve technical competencies, staff development, and delivery of water resource planning projects. You will promote a quality culture, drive BC initiatives, and work with market sector directors and staff to support growth and project delivery.

The successful candidate will mentor teams, lead strategic planning, and collaborate across HDR to align initiatives with client needs and industry trends, ensuring effective staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• Active participant of employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching.
• Leading or supporting standards, guidelines, tools, workflows, and techniques to enhance service quality.
• Participating in tactical planning with HDR to align initiatives with market drivers and client needs.
• Working with HDR staff to track, develop and share qualifications and project approaches.
• Engage on specific pursuits as a lead or team member.
• Drive industry strategies with professional associations, webinars, workshops, etc.
