Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Lead in Water to mentor staff, promote a quality culture, and drive delivery on water resource planning projects across multiple offices. The role collaborates with market sector directors and area staff to align initiatives with client needs and growth goals.

The successful candidate will bring a vision for delivery, staff development, and market growth, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex assignments in federal water programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• A minimum of 10 years experience.
• Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Foster a quality culture through project delivery excellence and staff coaching; act as Quality Control lead and technical lead for projects.
• Lead or support standards and guidelines for tools, checklists, workflows, and techniques to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Participate in tactical planning and align initiatives with market drivers; support recruiting activities for key positions.
• Collaborate with HDR teams including client facing and marketing staff to track, develop and share qualifications and project approaches; engage on pursuits as lead or team member.
