Moffatt & Nichol, a leader in waterfront infrastructure, seeks an Engineering Intern in its San Diego office to support design engineers and project administration for marine, waterfront, and bridge projects. You will assist with plans, calculations, and reports while gaining hands-on field exposure.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a structural emphasis, a final year in progress, and preferred coursework in materials, structural analysis, and design.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design waterfront structures and inspect maritime facilities.
• Assist in development of plans, calculations, and reports.
• Perform field investigations and site inspections.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and project managers on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Review construction shop drawings and technical submittals.
