Job summary

Moffatt & Nichol, a leader in waterfront infrastructure, seeks a Structural Intern to support Seattle or Federal Way teams. You will assist with analysis, design, and documentation for marine projects under close supervision, gaining hands‑on experience in multiple disciplines.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a structural/civil degree, entering final year, with an interest in AutoCAD, SAP2000, LPile, Mathcad, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Working toward a Structural or Civil Engineering degree with emphasis on structural topics.
• Entering final year of Bachelor's; Master's degree preferred for consideration.
• Preferred to have an EIT certification or be pursuing one.
• Interest in structural analysis of waterfront facilities and related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analysis and design of waterfront structures under supervision.
• Support development of plans, calculations, and reports for maritime projects.
• Help in field investigations and inspections as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams across disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
