Moffatt & Nichol is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for the Waterfront team in San Diego. You will support design engineers in analysis, drafting, and documentation for marine and waterfront projects, with potential exposure to bridges and piers.

You should be pursuing a relevant engineering degree, be comfortable with fieldwork, and possess strong communication skills. This internship offers hands-on experience in a leading infrastructure firm with potential for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with a focus on structures.
• Entering the final year of an accredited degree following summer employment.
• Master's degree track is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist design engineers in analysis and design of waterfront structures.
• Support development of plans, calculations, and reports for marine projects.
• Perform field investigations and inspections as needed to support design work.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers on multi-discipline projects.
• Prepare inspection reports and review shop drawings and submittals.
