Qualifications

• 1–2 years in fine dining or 2 years in customer service.
• Excellent phone manners and professional communication.
• Coordinate special occasions and VIPs with staff.
• Initiate friendly conversations to set guest expectations.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Weekend availability and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Create a standout first impression – welcome guests warmly.
• Maintain open body language and proactive engagement on the floor.
• Answer and route calls with professional etiquette on a multi-line system.
• Guide guests on oyster bar seating, happy hour and event offerings.
• Use POS and phone systems; handle basic cash tasks; keep host stand clean.
