Job summary

Under supervision, you will perform trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, testing, and site prep, while following safety rules. Responsibilities include moving materials, signaling equipment operators, operating machinery as directed, and maintaining erosion controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of water/wastewater construction experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Construct and install water and wastewater systems under supervision.
• Observe safety rules and report unsafe conditions.
• Excavate trenches, lay pipe, backfill, and test mains.
• Maintain safe working conditions including trench safety.
• Load supplies, signal equipment operators, and assist with machinery.
• Perform site preparation and cleanup.
